Cape Point Cycling and Hiking Tours

AWOL Tours provides privately guided nature tours for hikers or cyclists in Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope.

Guests will be met at Hotel accommodation at 8am for a personalised cycling or hiking tour by a qualified nature and culture guide who will regale facts, stories and legends about the history and culture of the Cape. We travel to Cape Peninsula National Park viewing the African penguins at Boulders Beach colony en route. Once in the reserve guests have the option of doing a 25km-60km bike ride or more along undulating roads leading down to the Cape of Good Hope, the most South-Westerly corner on the African continent.

Enjoy a leisurely hike from Cape of Good Hope to Cape Point, making the legend of the renowned “Cape of Storms” come alive. Wildlife can be seen amongst the unique vegetation of the Cape Floral Kingdom. Relax and enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the many pristine white beaches or the option to enjoy lunch at the Two Oceans restaurant/Harbour House, with spectacular views over False Bay. We return via the Atlantic coast and travel via Chapman’s Peak to Hout Bay and Llandudno. After a day of activity, (weather and time permitting) enjoy sundowners on the beach with the Cape’s best wine.
